Greater Philadelphia Jewish Community Moonshot Proposal Form
  • Greater Philadelphia Jewish Community Moonshot Proposal Form

  • We are happy to introduce the Greater Philadelphia Jewish Community Moonshot Initiative. The Moonshot is a ‘BIG Audacious Idea” that will bring together leaders from our diverse, local Jewish community to work together to think about how we can reshape the future of Jewish Greater Philadelphia.

This initiative invites individuals and organizations from the community to submit their ideas. A Jewish Community Task Force will review all proposals. No more than 10 proposals will be selected to be featured at the Community Moonshot Summit on Tuesday, June 23 from 4 - 8:30 p.m. at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue, where attendees will discuss and vote on the proposals. The results will be shared with the community at-large and may be eligible for funding.

    DETAILS

    Who should submit an idea?

Anyone and everyone! Whether you’re a Jewish communal professional, a lay leader at a local Jewish organization, a day school parent, or a community member, you are encouraged to submit your idea.

What should my proposal look like?

    A Moonshot submission should include:

    • North Star Vision: A singular, clearly defined vision that aligns all partners around a common goal for the future of our community.
    • Defined, Measurable Targets: A strategic, time-bound initiative with specific, data-driven benchmarks that mobilize the community toward measurable growth and impact.
    • Comprehensive Strategy: A multi-layered approach that removes financial, structural and social barriers while actively inspiring and incentivizing participation.
    • Ecosystem Alignment: Synagogues, schools, camps and agencies working in coordination toward a shared goal, designed to be bigger than any one organization.
    • Right to Lead: A clear articulation of why you or your organization is uniquely positioned to convene partners and execute this initiative at scale.
